Originally formed in Nevada County, California as a side project to David’s more traditional bluegrass bands, Daring Coyotes plays hard driving original music as well as traditional tunes. First spotted outside their local confines on the same stage in Humboldt County graced by folks like Greensky Bluegrass (admittedly not the same night) Daring Coyotes String Band were off to a strong start playing all over Northern California in 2019 before the entire world hit pause. Two years (and a cross country move!) later, in a museum courtyard in North Adams, MA before Bela Fleck took the stage, David was playing mandolin inside some modern art when he met Jordan Worldpeace.
Former bassist and current dobro shredder, Jordan has been a multi-instrumentalist on the NYC and New England Jam scene for over 20 years. He has played with large regional acts such as Franklin Turnpike, The Ramapo Mountain Boys and The Worcester County Bluegrass All-stars.
And with that the East Coast incarnation of Daring Coyotes came to life, through extensive jam sessions at the centrally located Worldpeace Productions studio with other like minded local musicians. Over the last year they’ve played at a wide range of Western Massachusetts venues and look forward to a 2023 with lots more music to be had!
