Odyssey of the Far West

David Clark Carroll grew up in Newton, Massachusetts, spent 16 years in Northern California, and came back to find a new home in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Written and recorded in Grass Valley, California, and mixed in Northampton, MA in a third story walk up Airbnb these songs reflect the years living in the Sierra Nevada mountains, along the Pacific Ocean and exploring all over the golden state. David is marking this liminal period with this debut solo release under the Daring Coyotes name, and paying tribute to his California bluegrass influences, friends and mentors. David will be celebrating this material at his one and only show of this tumultuous year of change at the Luthiers Coop in Easthampton Nov 19th at 7pm and it will be available for purchase on Bandcamp on the 19th, and other digital platforms the following week.
